This is a small and simple love story of a boy, a girl and the girl’s father. I have written this poem in the boy’s perspective.
I reached her home that winter night,
Waiting on my bike outside for her sight.
I heard the squeaky sound of a door opening
And saw near the threshold a tall man standing.
Big mustache, tall and large body with burning eyes,
His looks did force me to act with him a little more nice.
Behind him was she standing looking very cute,
But by seeing him I had become totally mute!
He started taking steps one by one near to me
Behind him she was coming but I couldn’t see.
My body started to shiver because of his attire
I pulled all my strength together to get my only desire.
He held her hand and held mine too
I looked at him and a smile on his face grew
He said to me “Take my daughter with you my boy,
She loves you and give her all the happiness and joy”!
